Location:

• Angleton, Texas

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law and criminal defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, discovery documents, motions, and other legal documents.
• Handle hearings, trials, and client consultations.
• Manage cases and client relationships, ensuring quality service and communication.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop practice strategies and legal approaches.
• Meet regularly with team members to discuss case developments, skill-building, and career growth.
• Contribute to the firm's reputation through legal expertise and client advocacy.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law.
• Experience in criminal defense is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Skills:

• Expertise in family law practice and litigation.
• Familiarity with criminal defense procedures is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
