This position will focus on intricate commercial and healthcare-related disputes, offering a dynamic and challenging environment. The firm seeks an attorney who has a strong foundation in litigation and thrives in a collaborative setting.

Duties:

• Handle complex commercial litigation and healthcare-related cases
• Perform legal research and draft compelling motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court, depositions, and arbitration proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to strategize case development
• Manage client communications and provide ongoing updates
• Assist in case preparation, including discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation
• Contribute to the firm’s efforts in case resolution through settlement negotiations or trial

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, particularly in complex commercial or healthcare matters
• Proven ability to conduct legal research and write persuasive legal documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• New York State Bar membership required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York State

Skills:
