A law firm seeks a Civil Law Associate Attorney in Columbus, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be passionate about representing clients during challenging times and will work within the Civil Law Practice Area Group serving clients in Catawba County and western North Carolina.

Duties

• Conduct new client consultations.
• Attend court, mediations, and depositions.
• Research and prepare cases for court.
• Participate in case reviews and team trainings.
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, virtually, and in writing.
• Manage a high volume of cases from start to finish.

Requirements

• Licensed member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.
• Previous law firm and litigation experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• North Carolina Bar membership.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
