The role includes active involvement in a diverse mix of client matters healthcare professionals and legal peers to major corporations and local businesses-offering exposure to all aspects of litigation.

Duties:

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery-related documents

• Perform legal research and apply findings to strategic case analysis

• Engage in all phases of litigation including case management, client meetings, depositions, and court appearances

• Attend hearings, mediations, and related proceedings as necessary

• Analyze business-related legal challenges and develop practical solutions for clients

• Work closely with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and trial preparation

• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines using legal technology tools

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Connecticut

• 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation

• Demonstrated proficiency in legal drafting, research, and oral advocacy

• Ability to multitask across numerous files in a deadline-driven setting

• Readiness to pursue or obtain admission in New York is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Connecticut Bar

• Eligibility or willingness to seek admission to New York

Skills:

• High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Skilled in legal writing and complex argument formulation

• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills

• Comfortable with modern law practice technologies, including document management and communication platforms within O365
