Duties:

• Evaluate newly assigned matters and devise strategic action plans and budget frameworks

• Identify applicable pleading requirements and coordinate work with paralegals

• Draft, revise, and manage responses to discovery and oversee document production

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and discovery-related proceedings

• Regularly report on case progress and discovery events to relevant stakeholders

• Engage in negotiation efforts, secure settlement authority, and prepare for trial as needed

• Maintain continuous communication with legal support staff to ensure smooth cash flow

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of substantive experience in insurance coverage litigation

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex cases with minimal supervision

• Proven communication skills, both written and verbal, with a variety of stakeholders

• Strong sense of initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Georgia State Bar (mandatory)

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage law and litigation procedures

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Comfortable using or learning legal case management systems

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a high-volume practice
