Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A Los Angeles-based law firm is actively expanding its litigation division and seeks Personal Injury Attorneys across various experience levels. This opportunity is ideal for professionals eager to advocate for injured clients and gain hands-on litigation experience, from pre-filing through trial. Junior attorneys will receive close mentorship and structured development, while more seasoned litigators will manage their caseloads with substantial support. The role is well-suited for attorneys who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about helping individuals stand up to insurance carriers and other corporate entities.

Duties:

• Manage a wide range of personal injury cases, including:

  • Auto accidents

  • Trucking and motorcycle incidents

  • Premises liability claims

  • Catastrophic injuries (spine, orthopedic)

  • Traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and wrongful death matters

• Oversee the litigation process from initiation through resolution or trial

• Collaborate with partners, associates, and a team of litigation support staff

• Participate in discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation

• Handle a growing docket with increasing independence over time

• Mentor or be mentored depending on experience level

Requirements:

• Strong commitment to client advocacy

• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through

• Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff

• Prior experience in either plaintiff-side or defense personal injury litigation

• Trial experience (preferred for mid-to senior-level candidates)

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Exceptional interpersonal communication

• Time management and organizational efficiency

• Confidence in courtroom proceedings and negotiations

• Proficiency with case management tools and legal research software
