The candidate will attend court proceedings with Magistrate Judge and drafting corresponding orders. Will prepare bench memos for various civil discovery motions and criminal pretrial motions. Research and write with an emphasis on Social Security Appeals, Civil Rights Litigation, and Prisoner Litigation. Assist with daily functioning of Magistrate Judge's Chambers. Prior judicial clerkship experience is preferred. Specialized work experience in Social Security is desired.
Clerkship Term: August 1, 2021 to August 1, 2022.
