A leading Texas-based personal injury law firm is hiring a Case Development Intake Attorney to join its San Antonio office. The attorney will work alongside a dedicated case manager, handling a docket of approximately 50 cases. This role focuses on intake, early case development, and investigative support in preparation for litigation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated attorney with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, eager to begin or continue a career in plaintiff-side personal injury law.

Manage and triage a docket of approximately 50 pre-litigation personal injury cases
Investigate and preserve evidence including accident reports, photos, and witness statements
Conduct site visits, social media and background checks, and scene photography
Draft and send letters of representation and open record requests
Assist clients with medical documentation and property damage coordination
Handle after-hours and rotational intake duties including in-office or remote sign-ups
Maintain regular client communication and send monthly status letters
Supervise assigned case manager and oversee day-to-day case activities
Prepare demand letters and support early negotiations when applicable
Comply with firm policies and documentation standards
Complete special assignments and projects as requested
0–3 years of experience, preferably in personal injury or plaintiff-side practice
Willingness to handle after-hours and on-call responsibilities
Ability to manage large volumes of information and multitask efficiently
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus
Customer service or sales background preferred
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong writing, communication, and legal research skills
High emotional intelligence and client-first mindset
Attention to detail and ability to follow case protocols
Strong initiative and self-motivation
Ability to lead and energize support staff
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
Familiarity with electronic intake and case management systems
