The candidate will join the Civil Law Division that defends the State and its employees in federal civil rights actions and tort claims brought in all federal courts, state courts, and the Tennessee Claims Commission.

The writing sample should be on a substantive legal matter (not including judicial opinions), consist solely of your own work, and should not exceed 10 pages. Ten pages from a longer document is acceptable as is draft work.
