A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in Winston-Salem, NC. The successful candidate will manage legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies, providing high-quality legal representation in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Duties

• Conducts exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication.
• Manages a high-volume caseload, offering expert legal and regulatory advice.
• Negotiates with opposing counsel to resolve cases.
• Travels to various courts within North Carolina as needed.
• Collaborates with the Managing Attorney to report activities and results.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation.
• J.D. from an accredited law school with an active NC law license.
• License to practice in other states (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding time management skills.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
