Duties

• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis.
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action.

Requirements

• Maintain client communications via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Attend hearings in courts throughout the northern half of Ohio.
• Review evidence, conduct research, and draft motions.
• Work with senior attorneys to coordinate strategy.
• Zealously represent the accused, regardless of allegations.
• Possess decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
