This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3 to 6 years of hands-on litigation experience involving workplace-related matters. Represent employers in a wide range of employment-related disputes
Handle litigation matters through all stages, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, and resolution
Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws and risk management strategies
Respond to administrative agency claims and participate in negotiations or mediations
Draft motions, memoranda, and briefs in employment litigation
Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to develop tailored legal strategies
3 to 6 years of experience in employment law litigation, preferably on behalf of employers
Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously with minimal supervision
Excellent legal writing, analysis, and research skills
Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar
Must reside in or be willing to work from the Columbus area in a hybrid capacity
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active license to practice law in the state of Ohio (required)
Deep understanding of federal and Ohio state labor and employment regulations
Strong oral advocacy and client counseling abilities
