A well-established law firm located in Omaha, Nebraska, is actively seeking a Family Law Attorney with a strong litigation background to manage a caseload involving divorce, custody, support, and other domestic relations matters. Duties:

• Advocate on behalf of clients in contested and uncontested family law matters, including dissolution, custody, support, and property distribution

• Prepare pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings

• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, mediation, pre-trial, and trial

• Conduct legal research and analysis to inform case strategies

• Participate in hearings and trials, providing effective representation

• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure expectations and updates are clear

• Collaborate with paralegals and support personnel for efficient file and docket management

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to case timelines and court procedures

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Nebraska and good standing

• Minimum of 2-7 years of direct experience in family law litigation

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision

• Strong organizational and case strategy planning skills

• Proven courtroom presence and litigation acumen

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Sensitivity in managing emotionally complex client interactions

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Bar admission in the state of Nebraska (mandatory)
