Duties

• Conduct new client consultations and provide legal advice.
• Manage settlements, ensuring all parties are compensated and litigation is resolved.
• Oversee case dockets, managing deadlines for optimal resolutions.
• Develop strategies to maximize client value.
• Prepare legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Advise clients on legal options and strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare necessary documents.
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Texas Bar License required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation.
• Must reside in or near Austin, Texas.
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 1-2 years of experience in a law firm setting.
• Strong public speaking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload independently.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Texas Bar License.
