Duties

• Manage civil litigation cases across multiple practice areas

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and correspondence

• Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies

• Attend court hearings, including motions and trial proceedings

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Interview witnesses and gather case evidence

• Communicate directly with clients and provide legal counsel

Requirements

• Previous experience in one or more of the following practice areas:

  • Employment law

  • Business litigation

  • Personal injury

  • Real estate litigation

  • Workers’ compensation

• Ability to manage litigation files independently or under guidance, based on experience

• Willingness to appear in court and participate in all stages of litigation

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of California (required)
