A prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Attorney to join their expanding legal team. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in legal advocacy, litigation, and an understanding of family law procedures. The successful candidate will represent clients in various legal matters and engage in all aspects of case management, from research and strategy development to court representation.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in court, hearings, and legal proceedings.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to build case strategies.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Provide effective communication and counsel to clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on legal developments and procedural updates.
  • Manage caseload efficiently, meeting all deadlines and case milestones.
  • Contribute to the development of legal strategies in client matters.
  • Participate in professional legal organizations and networking events to promote the firm's interests.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership with the Texas State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, ideally within family law.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral advocacy and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative environments.
  • High level of organizational and time management proficiency.
  • Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Solid understanding of state court procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
