Patent Agent (Organic Chemistry)
The candidate will work for the Life Sciences team. Will be an integral part of dynamic, highly-respected IP practice. Will build strong relationships with colleagues and clients, and contribute to deeply meaningful and interesting work in a collaborative team environment. A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or related discipline and registration with the USPTO is required. Should be capable of working on all matters involving small molecules, and have experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses, and supporting due diligence related to small-molecule pharmaceuticals. Should also have outstanding writing and interpersonal skills, as well as strong academic credentials.
