Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Attorney to join their team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in client representation and transactional matters, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively. This position may require statewide travel.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and provide opinions.
• Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Represent clients in procedural and transactional matters.
• Monitor and report on legal developments affecting clients.
• Draft letters, legal pleadings, and e-file documents.
• Participate in case management, discovery, and oral advocacy.
• Assist with responses to legal service proposals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• 3-5 years of legal practice experience.
• Familiarity with Florida Administrative Procedures Act, Sunshine Law, and Public Records Act.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and prioritize tasks.
• Experience in state or local government preferred.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
