A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Finance and Commercial Transactions Associate to join its practice in Holland, MI. Duties

• Provide legal advice to borrowers and lenders on commercial finance and lending matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations in financial transactions.
• Conduct due diligence investigations for financial transactions.
• Draft and negotiate financial and commercial agreements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial lending and finance.
• Strong research, drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Admission in good standing to at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Licensed or willing to become licensed in Michigan.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged sitting or standing.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
