A law firm seeks an Associate with 2-6 years of experience to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation team within the Tax practice group in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will assist clients with complex employee benefits issues, including executive compensation, retirement plans, health and welfare plans, ERISA, and M&A.

Duties

• Advise on executive compensation, retirement plans, and health and welfare plans.
• Ensure compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
• Provide guidance on M&A transactions.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver client solutions.

Requirements

• Two to six years of law firm experience.
• Strong background in executive compensation and retirement plans.
• Experience with ERISA compliance.
• Proven ability to advise on M&A transactions.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Strong academic records and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Georgia.
