A law firm seeks an Associate specializing in Aviation Liability to join their team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have over two years of litigation experience, particularly in aviation and product liability, and be licensed to practice in California. This role involves working independently on complex cases, from discovery through trial, and requires a proactive approach to managing caseloads.

Duties

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis, drafting memoranda.
• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
• Review document collections for litigation preparation.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings to trial.

Requirements

• Experience in aviation and/or product liability preferred.
• Licensed to practice in CA and/or AZ.
• Experience in discovery and law and motion.
• State and federal court experience.
• Excellent academic credentials and work history.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in California and/or Arizona.
