Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced legal professional to join its finance group, specifically within the structured finance subgroup, in Palo Alto, CA. The role focuses on commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions. Candidates with prior experience in this area are preferred but not required.

Duties

• Advise clients on commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop legal strategies.
• Draft and review complex legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Requirements

• 5-9 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and/or CLO.
• Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent organizational and management skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of application.
