Duties:

• Handle licensing agreements and other technology transactions.
• Conduct due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions involving intellectual property.

Requirements:

• Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-14 years of experience as an Intellectual Property Attorney.
• Excellent academic record.
• Proficient writing skills and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Superior judgment and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Active Bar license in Tennessee.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with global patent prosecution and portfolio management.
• Experience in freedom to operate and patent clearance matters.
• Previous involvement in licensing agreements and technology transactions.
• Background in due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.
