The role involves the full litigation process, including drafting, writing, researching, and effective communication with clients. The attorney will be responsible for managing cases through the litigation process and ensuring compliance with court and client deadlines.

Duties:

• Handle the full litigation process, including drafting, writing, and legal research.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status and developments.
• Manage and move cases through the litigation process according to court and client deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain an organized and systematic approach to case files and documentation.
• Participate in legal strategy discussions and contribute to case strategies.

Requirements:

• 0 to 7 years of litigation experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Ability to independently manage caseloads and communicate effectively with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality legal work.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA Bar).

Skills:

• Litigation experience with a focus on workers’ compensation or insurance defense is a plus.
• Strong research, drafting, and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and manage relationships with clients.
