Duties

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal correspondence.
• Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in California; other bar admissions considered for experienced candidates.
• Experience in insurance coverage, coverage litigation, or commercial litigation with an interest in insurance coverage.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
