A law firm seeks a Lateral/Experienced Associate to join its Commercial Litigation Group in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in commercial litigation and a strong desire to work in a dynamic legal environment.

Duties

• Collaborate with partners on all phases of litigation, including case reporting and trial preparation.
• Conduct depositions and manage electronic discovery processes.
• Draft and respond to motions and discovery requests.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and provide regular updates.
• Independently manage a caseload from inception to resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of commercial litigation experience.
• Proficiency in electronic discovery platforms such as Relativity.
• Strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to handle court appearances and depositions regularly.
• Membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
