Duties:

• Draft litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery demands.
• Take depositions, conduct legal research, and appear in court.
• Handle cases from inception through trial and appeal.
• Appear regularly in court to participate in conferences and oral arguments.
• Engage in depositions and motion practice.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, court staff, adversaries, and witnesses.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior management in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (pending admission is acceptable).
• Licensed to practice law in New York; a New Jersey license is a bonus.
• 1-3 years of experience in litigation.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Ability to work independently and immediately assume client responsibilities.
• Demonstrated flexibility and effective prioritization of work tasks.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
