Location

• El Paso, Texas

Duties

• Bill a minimum of 100 hours per month to clients
• Regularly consult with clients to maintain and develop business relationships
• Secure new client business on an ongoing basis
• Provide legal advice on business transactions, lawsuits, and legal rights and obligations
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to each case
• Analyze case outcomes based on legal precedents
• Initiate and respond to legal actions as necessary
• Present cases to judges and juries in potentially high-stress situations
• Travel as required by case and client needs
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements to maintain firm stability and reputation
• Stay current with legal knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney
• Strong background in litigation and trial work
• Excellent client relationship skills, with the ability to attract and retain clients
• Experience with legal research, analysis, and presentation

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active membership and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
