Represent sponsors, developers, and financing parties in connection with renewable energy transactions
Draft and negotiate key legal documents related to project development and operation, including:
EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Agreements
Supply Agreements
Offtake Agreements
O&M (Operations & Maintenance) Agreements
Advise on M&A and financing arrangements, including:
Debt financing documentation
Tax equity financing
Ancillary transactional agreements
Maintain ongoing client communication and collaborate with third-party advisors
Take ownership of projects while contributing legal insight at all stages of the deal lifecycle
Minimum 4 years of experience in the energy industry
Experience gained at a large national law firm or equivalent in-house counsel role
Familiarity with the legal aspects of renewable energy project development, M&A, and financing
Ability to independently manage complex transactions and deadlines
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top-tier, accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the bar of the state in which the candidate resides
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and financing contracts
Strong analytical, research, and writing abilities
Effective communicator with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
