A respected law firm based in Seattle is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team. This opportunity is ideal for a recent law school graduate or newly admitted attorney aiming to gain diverse, hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive legal environment. The role offers the chance to contribute to a broad array of legal matters while learning directly from seasoned attorneys across several areas of practice.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and internal memoranda

• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support litigation and transactional matters

• Attend and participate in client meetings, court appearances, and depositions (under supervision)

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across multiple legal disciplines

• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines

• Communicate with clients, courts, and external parties in a professional manner

Requirements:

• Licensed or eligible for timely admission to practice law in Washington State

• 0-2 years of legal experience, including internships, externships, or clinical work

• Proficient in legal writing, research, and analysis

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal

• Responsible, self-motivated, and eager to learn

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active or pending admission to the Washington State Bar

Skills:

• Familiarity with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)

• Background or interest in areas such as real estate, land use, construction, probate, business, or employment law

• Demonstrated initiative through law review, moot court, or comparable academic experiences

• Strong attention to detail and task follow-through
