Volunteer Legal Intern Spring 2021

The candidate will work under the supervision of the General Counsel and his attorney staff on legal matters arising from the operations of Office in the areas of grants and cooperative agreements, contracts and procurement, security, employment and labor issues, Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act issues, and other areas under the purview of Office and its component organizations. Will have the opportunity to conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda, reports and documents, to learn how to clearly identify and explain legal issues and the application of legal principles and precedents, and to express persuasively recommendations or conclusions. Will also have the opportunity to assist staff attorneys on employment cases in litigation.
