The candidate will be ongoing monitoring of default servicing network law firm compliance with regulatory governmental oversight agencies, the attorney services agreement and/or the best practices manual. Ongoing monitoring and tracking of attorney compliance with SLA Scorecard, agency timelines and milestones including first legal, judgment, and sales, proofs of claim, motions for relief, etc. Ongoing monitoring and tracking of attorney compliance with invoicing, fees and costs to ensure proper accounting. Performing sample files audits as required. Performing Annual Compliance Reviews of default servicing network law firms. Performing New Firm Vetting of default servicing network law firms. Performing Semi-Annual Reputational Reviews of default servicing network law firms. Annual review of department policies and procedures, as well as the Best Practices Manual. Receive, track and resolve issues that arise with the default servicing network law firms as received internally, from clients, borrowers, or outside parties via the Attorney Issues Log. Research and draft demands to default servicing network law firms regarding the denied claims made to regulatory agencies and mortgage insurance companies and/or other losses caused or contributed to by the default servicing network law firms. Prepare and host monthly and/or quarterly calls with default servicing network law firms. College degree and/or paralegal certification is preferred. Should have 1-3 years of mortgage servicing experience with a servicer or sub servicer and default servicing attorney firm experience. Solid PC skills: Proficient with Microsoft applications are needed. Strong attention to detail is needed. Should have the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact in a positive and professional manner at all times.
