A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their Trucking team in Tampa, Florida. The role involves working alongside seasoned Trial Attorneys, providing support throughout the litigation process. This position offers the opportunity to handle high-value trucking cases, contributing significantly to clients' lives while developing into a skilled Litigation and Trial Lawyer.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day trucking litigation cases.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process and maintain relationships.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with Litigation Paralegals and Case Managers.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.
• 1+ years of litigation experience preferred; trucking accident experience a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in personal injury law and trial work.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Florida State Bar Association.
