Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lawyer specializing in litigation of company matters and regulatory proceedings
Manages external law firms, vendors and associated budgets.
The role influences policy/operating guidelines about important subjects.
Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Required Qualifications
JD or law degree from an accredited university
8 years of legal practice with a focus on litigation or enforcement matters
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Significant experience in managing matters before US courts and/or international arbitration venues
Substantive knowledge and experience with the False Claims Act, FCPA, and other fraud statutes a plus
Experience in the aerospace or defense industry a plus
Prior government or in-house experience a plus
