Practice Support Specialist

Duties: Provide daily operational support and administration of various firm collaboration, matter and artificial intelligence applications. Assist end users with access, training, workflow development and address additional needs as the matter develops. Communicate with case teams and practice support teams regarding work flow, problems, issues and resolutions. Communicate with outside parties, including clients and third party vendors to gather information and pricing. Address enhancement, integration and development needs or requests. Adhere to established best practices, identify risk involved with any deviation, and demonstrate an understanding of the need for change. Act in the role of Subject Matter Expert with the ability to recommend best practices, improve work flows and suggest solutions. Facilitate and coordinate meetings with lawyers, allied professionals and others to understand and document the problems to be solved, questions to be answered and issues to be addressed. Assume the role of a project manager when implementing change to best practices, establish the business case and facilitate meetings with stakeholders as necessary. Provide one-on-one or case team end user support and practice support technology assistance. Training users and assisting with the preparation of training material and troubleshooting end user problems is expected. Stay current with industry news and application version releases. Actively participate in new legal technology proof of concept activities supporting the firm’s commitment to innovation. Assist on projects implementing new technology and solutions as requested as subject matter expert. Work with appropriate project implementation team members to create and curate training material that is applicable to the solution and practice. Curate and maintain the practice support page to ensure all elements are up to date and accurate. Liaise with various internal stake holders and outside vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner. Participate and present in practice meetings when required.
