A distinguished law firm in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a mid-level associate attorney to join a well-established Tax, Trusts, and Estates Practice Group, which also includes a significant focus on elder law, special needs law, and long-term care planning. The role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in trusts and estates law, and who have experience working with elder and special needs planning.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance in tax, trusts, estates, elder law, and special needs planning.
• Assist in the development and implementation of long-term care plans for clients.
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Manage and coordinate probate and estate administration.
• Collaborate with clients and their families to develop tailored estate and care plans.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer and estate management.
• Stay current on legal developments in elder law, trusts, estates, and tax laws.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in trusts and estates law, with a focus on elder law and long-term care planning.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar.
• Admission to the New York Bar is a plus.

Skills:
