EVENING CUSTODIAL/MAINTENANCE UTILITY STAFF

Profile

Burlington School District’s Property Services department has an immediate opening for an experienced custodial/maintenance utility person. This individual will be a roving custodian working in all of the Burlington School District schools filling absences of other custodial staff and performing light maintenance duties.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, and good time management skills. Preferred qualities include knowledge of floor refinishing, cleaning chemicals, and industrial equipment.

The hours for this 2nd shift position are primarily from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday during the school year. Hours and work location are subject to change at any time to reflect facility needs.

In addition to great health and dental benefits (available after 90 working days) and paid time off, vacation, and sick time accrues per pay period. This full-time position starts at $17.00/hr (plus applicable shift differential currently at $1.30 per hour).
