A law firm seeks an Environmental Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their team in Dallas, Texas. The role involves addressing a wide range of environmental issues, including compliance, litigation, and risk evaluation in corporate and real estate transactions.

Duties

• Conduct environmental due diligence and evaluate risk mitigation measures.
• Handle compliance issues related to RCRA, CERCLA, CAA, CWA, TSCA, FIFRA, and state laws.
• Engage in environmental enforcement matters and climate disclosure issues.
• Litigate agency challenges under the Administrative Procedure Act and core environmental statutes.

Requirements

• Admitted to the Texas Bar or eligible to waive into the same.
• 2-4 years' experience in environmental law.
• Experience advising energy industry companies preferred.
• Experience with OCSLA and oil and gas activity on public lands and offshore waters is a plus.

Education

• Strong academic credentials required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Texas required.
