Pre-Litigation Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a Pre-Litigation Attorney for their Studio City, CA location. The successful candidate will manage a docket of Pre-Litigation cases, reporting directly to an assigned Senior Associate and collaborating with Pre-Litigation staff. They must be comfortable providing guidance to non-attorneys and fostering a positive workplace environment.

Job Duties:

• Manage a docket of Pre-Litigation cases to resolution
• Report directly to an assigned Senior Associate
• Collaborate with Pre-Litigation staff to achieve high standards of client service
• Provide guidance to non-attorneys as needed
• Bring positivity to the workplace and lead non-attorneys by example

Requirements:

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be in good standing with the California State Bar

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in California

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
