Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level associate to join its Fund Finance practice in Charlotte, with the option to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in secured and unsecured lending transactions, including fund financings and leveraged finance deals.

Duties

• Support fund finance practice with complex domestic and cross-border financings.
• Engage in secured and unsecured lending transactions.
• Participate in acquisition financings and bridge loans.
• Collaborate on syndicated and bi-lateral financings.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong experience in fund finance and leverage finance/private credit.
• Solid law school academic credentials.
• Proven transaction experience in a sophisticated law firm environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
