A law firm seeks a General Liability Associate Attorney in Boston, Massachusetts. The position provides exposure to practice areas such as complex tort, general casualty, employment, construction, professional liability, and product liability.

Duties

• Manage matters at all stages of litigation.
• Represent clients in a wide range of defense litigation.
• Work closely with other attorneys and partners on litigation matters.
• Handle court appearances and conduct depositions.
• Communicate with clients, providing regular updates and recommendations on case strategy.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, with Rhode Island and/or New Hampshire preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant practice areas.
• Experience with complex tort, general casualty, employment, construction, professional liability, and/or product liability preferred.
• Superior communication, writing, analytical, and research skills.
• Experience preparing discovery requests and handling court appearances and depositions is a plus.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
