Location

Duties

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications

• Conduct freedom-to-operate and patent landscape analyses

• Perform due diligence reviews for mergers, acquisitions, and IP transactions

• Manage and build patent portfolios across a broad range of technologies

• Work closely with attorneys and clients to develop intellectual property strategies

• Stay informed on developments in patent law and industry trends

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution

• Experience working with technologies in industries such as medical devices, electronics, or software

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple assignments

• Strong client communication skills and business acumen

Education

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science required

• Preferred areas include mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering

Certifications

• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) strongly preferred

Skills

• Excellent technical writing and analytical skills

• Ability to understand and explain complex engineering concepts

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Proficiency in patent management tools and databases is a plus
