Debt Finance Associate
The candidate will draft, review and negotiate commitment letters, loan agreements, security documents, and other ancillary deliverables, conduct legal research, manage deal teams and processes from initial discussions through closing and post-closing matters, and manage and conduct due diligence. Take a lead on many of the day-to-day tasks involved in ensuring that deals are running smoothly, and will have a high degree of contact with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties. Handle an existing portfolio of corporate debt finance projects with the opportunity to continue to grow such practice with the full support of our corporate group and firm. Must have 3+ years of relevant experience; strong time management skills, excellent drafting skills, and a strong professional presence. Must be admitted to practice in New York have strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills.
