Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a passionate and experienced Immigration Attorney to join its team in Orlando, FL. This role offers the opportunity to advocate for clients in complex immigration matters, lead case strategies, and collaborate with a dedicated legal team. Ideal candidates will have strong litigation skills, deep knowledge of USCIS proceedings, and a commitment to making a positive impact on clients’ lives.

Location:

  • Orlando, Florida

Duties:

  • Represent clients in immigration court, removal proceedings, bond hearings, and appeals before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR)

  • Prepare and represent clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for asylum, adjustment of status, waivers, naturalization, and family-based petitions

  • Manage all aspects of immigration cases, ensuring timely filings, responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices to Appear (NTAs), and Motions to Reopen/Reconsider

  • Complete and review immigration forms including but not limited to I-130, I-485, I-601, I-751, I-918, I-589, I-360, and N-400

  • Meet with clients to develop case strategies, explain legal options, and manage expectations regarding outcomes

  • Stay current with immigration laws, policy changes, and procedural updates to build strong legal strategies

  • Collaborate with colleagues, experts, and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing immigration law, including removal defense, USCIS proceedings, and federal immigration litigation

  • Extensive familiarity with EOIR, USCIS, ICE, and Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) procedures

  • Strong courtroom experience in removal proceedings, bond hearings, and appeals

  • Proficient in drafting legal documents, motions, and filings for USCIS and Immigration Court

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License in any U.S. state (Georgia Bar preferred but not required)

Skills:

  • Strong advocacy and litigation skills

  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities

  • Proficient in immigration case management and form preparation

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required

  • Exceptional client communication and interpersonal skills
