Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 5 to 7 years of experience to join its Boca Raton office. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with experience in insurance defense being a plus. The candidate must be a member of the Florida Bar and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Handle communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
• Provide strategic legal counsel in the defense of clients.
• Ensure all case files are well-organized and up to date.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters.
• Handle multiple cases simultaneously, managing deadlines and priorities.

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in insurance defense is a plus.
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload.
