Senior Counsel, Tax
The candidate will drive value by identifying opportunities, spotting and evaluating tax risks, balancing risk with business objectives, and making recommendations that are objective, practical, technically appropriate, and supportive of the business. Support and collaborate with the business to better understand commercial objectives and develop policies and procedures relevant to the business, including attention to reputational risk considerations. Research and analyze relevant tax laws related to various domestic and foreign tax matters, draft and review tax provisions in agreements and deal documents, assist in federal, state and foreign tax audits and oversee and coordinate transfer pricing, BEPS, FATCA and other compliance documentation. Coordinate and effectively communicate with colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate tax planning, risk controls, and compliance. Monitor current and potential tax legislation and regulations.
