Duties

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze legal issues relevant to cases.
• Advise clients on various legal matters and case strategies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and other legal forums.
• Prepare and present oral arguments effectively in court.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to resolve cases efficiently.
• Participate in client meetings and case-related conferences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in defense litigation, with a focus on areas such as premises liability, product liability, professional malpractice, and construction defects.
• Strong ability to think critically and develop strategic solutions for complex legal issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and courts.
• Commitment to client service and maintaining high ethical standards in legal practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar (required).
