A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney in Atlantic City, NJ. This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced criminal defense practice, representing clients in Municipal and Superior Court on various matters.

Duties

• Review and analyze discovery materials, police reports, and body-worn camera footage.
• Draft legal briefs, motions, sentencing memoranda, and other court filings.
• Represent clients in Municipal and Superior Court proceedings.
• Conduct client meetings and maintain regular communication.
• Assist in trial preparation and strategy for complex cases.
• Perform in-depth legal research and case analysis.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in New Jersey.
• 0-3 years of legal experience (criminal defense experience preferred).
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment.
• Commitment to client-centered representation and criminal justice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
