Job Overview:

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their team. This role involves hands-on work from the inception of a case to trial, focusing on a diverse range of personal injury cases. The Associate Attorney will be an integral part of a dynamic team, participating in all stages of litigation and advocating for clients in various legal matters.

Duties:

• Manage and execute all aspects of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and sexual abuse cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Take and defend depositions, conduct discovery, and attend mediations.
• Argue law and motion matters before the court.
• Serve as either first or second chair in arbitrations and jury trials.
• Collaborate closely with the legal team to strategize case development and client advocacy.
• Provide excellent client communication and maintain case files with accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Proven track record of effective client advocacy and litigation experience.
• Exceptional drafting, writing, and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:
