Duties

• Submit affirmative applications with USCIS and DOS and represent clients at interviews.
• Draft legal cover letters, briefs, and memos.
• Collaborate with clients on drafting relevant forms and statements, and assist in obtaining necessary documents.
• Provide representation in immigration removal proceedings and before relevant courts and agencies.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas state bar preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.
• 2 years of immigration experience preferred but not required.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas state bar preferred.

Skills

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
